Ondrives Ltd. are pleased to offer rotary bushings as part of their linear motion range of parts.

The sealed type stroke rotary bushings are very popular and are made from carbon steel as standard, with an ordinary and heavy duty type type available. Stroke rotary bushings can operate in both linear and rotary directions at the same time, and therefore radial clearance should be held to a minimum if shock load is applied or vibration is present during the operation. It is especially recommended to use zero or minimal preload when this series is used in a vertical axis or very accurate movement is required. Shaft diameters range from 8mm up to 100mm as standard.

Miniature stroke rotary bushings are also available as standard and are a very compact linear motion rolling guide with a low sectional height and can achieve both rotary motion and reciprocating motion in the axial direction at the same time. Including the smallest model having a shaft diameter of 2mm, this series features smooth motion with low frictional resistance and is used in micro mechanisms of machines and equipment requiring precise rotation and linear motion such as measuring instruments, IC manufacturing machines and precision equipment. They are extremely accurate, have very smooth movement and a compact size, the company states.
