The precision range of gears has been designed and manufactured in-house exclusively by the Ondrives’ technical team and is suited to anyone whose application requires a higher degree of accuracy, finish and quality for a smoother, quieter and more precise gear. Even so, the prices have been calculated to offer customers the best possible value for money, please request our 2009 catalogue for more details.

There is also a commercial, UK manufactured, standard range of gears readily available off-the-shelf that will service most customers’ day to day needs and requirements. All standard sizes are commonplace but specials are easily available to customers’ specifications – please contact us with your request. Both small quantities and production runs are welcome.

PRECISION GEAR RANGE

The precision spur gear range in particular, is already proving popular and looks set to continue as repeat orders and business are already coming in. The range starts at 0.5 Mod going up to 3.0 Mod in high quality grade 7e25 DIN3961 (AGMA Q10). Four different materials are also available as standard – 817M40T (28HRC) steel, case hardened 805M20 (58HRC), 303 stainless and 316 stainless.

Anti-backlash spur gears, precision pinion shafts, spur gear racks, parallel helical gears, crossed helical gears, worms & wheels (including anti-backlash), bevel gears, synchronous timing pulleys & belts and synchroflex® timing pulleys & belts complete the precision gears range.

A wide range of technical information on gear quality, comparisons of grade standards, torque figures, gear forces, efficiency, backlash, limits and fits and modification prices is included within the latest catalogue for your reference. Please remember our experienced technical team are always on hand to help with anything you may need.

Specials are also available quickly and easily as the entire range is manufactured in-house by Ondrives using the latest 3D CAD and CNC technology. The ever expanding CNC production department means tighter quality control than ever before ensuring all round customer satisfaction and allowing us to work to customers’ just-in-time requirements.
