The threadless or moulded spacers are available in three different materials, which are nylon, brass or stainless steel. All are designed to give clearance on metric bolts and special lengths can be accommodated. Note that nylon spacers are not radiussed at the ends.
Threaded spacers and pillars come in a variety of different combinations, materials, sizes and configurations. Female to female, male to female and male to male are all available in choices of steel, brass, stainless and nylon in a range of sizes varying from M2.5 to M20 thread as standard. Other lengths and thread sizes are available on request if you cannot see what you are looking for. Some pillars and spacers are only partially threaded whilst others are threaded straight through depending on size – the range is so vast, it’s wise to order the catalogue to check it out for yourself!
The nylon range is suitable for those applications that require shock resistance and insulation. They are very adaptable to any environment in that they have a wide operating temperature and in addition to the standard range available, they are offered with a process which allows the body length, type and length of thread to be adjusted quickly and economically so that customers can specify them to their exact requirements.
