Slide Rail Bearings represent the latest in sliding friction - low profile rail guide technology. Slide rail features an extruded aluminum rail and block which is ceramic coated. The block has a Teflon® Composite, self-lubricating, low friction, maintenance-free liner. Slide Rail's unique 45 degree load plane ensures high load capacity coupled with easy, quiet linear motion. Slide Rails are FDA/USDA compliant.
NOTE: due to the differences between dimensions and rolling vs. sliding friction, these systems are not interchangeable with popular metric low profile rail guides. Slide Rails are not recommended for applications where moment (overturning) loads are present. Suitable for automation, food process, medical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor equipment.
