Expansion inserts are the easiest and quickest inserts to install, being simply pushed into a pre-moulded hole.
They can be used with plastics or other materials provided that the material is strong enough to withstand the expansion of the insert as the screw locks the external knurls into the wall of the hole.
Series 15 provides excellent thread durability but where maximum strength is required other inserts shown in this catalogue should be preferred.
