Housing: Sintered Aluminium.
Bearing Retainer: Outer retainer is steel (which is clinched into Aluminium housing) with a Nylon washer on first face.

Mating shaft recommendation: Min. hardening 100 HRB (Rockwell B). Max surface finish 16 RMS. Recommended shaft clearance is 0.013 - 0.038mm, using lower limit of bore tolerance.
