Rotary Dampers
Bi-directional rotary dampers are one of the most popular products within this range and have damping action in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. They are supplied as standard with gears, but are available without on request. They have a maximum speed of 50 rpm, and operating temperature varies between 0ºC to 50ºC. Other dampers in the range are also uni-directional so customers are free to choose whatever suits their requirements. Other dampers in the range include another bi-directional FRXA version, which is a vane operated damper giving high damping torque for a limited rotation angle. Although it was originally designed to control the closure rates on toilet seats, it has since been found to extremely useful in many other applications! The FYN-K1 (pictured) is another vane operated damper but gives high damping torque for a specific rotational angle. The reverse lock on the FRL damper is used to hold a door or mechanism in either an open or closed position. The locking point is infinitely variable without adjustment and can be used with a rotary damper to give both a lock and controlled closure rate. Other applications include: furntiture doors on access panels and piano keys or desk lids. Two different types of adjustable rotary dampers complete the range and are available in three directions – bi, left or right hand. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
