Ondrives offer a range of DC motors which range from a tiny 1.2 wattage with a 1.5mm diameter motor shaft to a 4 watt, 3mm diameter motor shaft, along with a range of DC motor and gearbox combinations. 

The MAX range of DC motors are high quality ironless DC motors offering a high output power within a very small fame size.  The ironless construction offers:

  • Low inductance – much longer brush life and low electrical noise

  • Low inertia – low mechanical time constant for fast acceleration and high speed stability

  • High efficiency – low current consumption, ideal for battery powered applications

  • Linear speed torque characteristics – simple accurate control ideal for servo applications

  • Precious metal brush commutation system guaranteeing consistent and low contact resistance

  • CLL disc fitted on the precious metal brush motors – reduces arching between the brushes and commutator, the main cause of brush wear on precious metal brush motors, thereby increasing operating life and reducing electrical noise.
